Essence vs Toner: What’s the Difference and Which Do You Need?
Think of your routine like watering a plant. Toner is the quick splash that makes skin receptive. Essence is the nutrient rich drink that helps everything thrive. Old school toners could be tingly and drying but modern K-Beauty toners are soothing and hydrating. Essence goes a step further: watery like a toner, but loaded with skin loving ferments that leave skin bouncy and bright
Meet the Hybrid: Fermented Rice Probiotic Essence Toner
Our Fermented Rice Probiotic Essence Toner is both. It behaves like a toner (preps, softens) and delivers essence level benefits (plumps, brightens and helps actives absorb). One step, double duty, less faff at the sink and more glow in the mirror
How to Use It for Your Skin Type
After cleansing the skin, apply an appropriate amount of toner evenly to the face and gently pat until absorbed.
Oily or Acne-Prone Skin
Press one light layer with palms. Want a little more control through the centre of the face? Tap an extra half-layer just on the forehead and nose.
Dry or Dehydrated
Go for two layers: press, wait 10 seconds, press again
Sensitive or Easily Red
Use one gentle layer and pat don’t rub. Keep the rest of your routine minimal on sensitive days
Combination
Layer once everywhere, then spot-treat the drier areas (cheeks) with a second press
